Cook County Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans said the Fourth Municipal District courthouse will remain closed tomorrow, Wednesday, November 19, 2003, except for the 11 a.m. bond call hearing in Room 113.
Private attorneys, members of the State’s Attorney’s Office, members of the Public Defender’s Office, and necessary court personnel will be allowed into the courthouse for the bond hearing. After the bond call concludes, the facility will be closed for the remainder of the day while repairs are underway.
Chief Judge Evans closed the courthouse on Tuesday, November 18, 2003, in the interest of public safety following damage to the facility’s roof caused by a recent heavy rainfall. The Fourth Municipal District Courthouse is located at 1500 Maybrook Drive in Maywood.
