*The pedway (on the Concourse Level) is open from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. to provide underground access between the CTA, the Daley Center, the Cook County Dunne Administration Building, and City Hall.

Parking and Directions

Public Transportation:

  • CTA – Red Line (Lake stop) or Blue Line (Washington Stop)
  • CTA Buses – 56, 60, 124, 127, 157
  • Metra Union Station, Ogilvie Transportation Center and Van Buren Street Station are all within walking distance of Richard J. Daley Center

Parking:
There are several public parking lots within walking distance. If you choose to park in one of these lots or a metered street parking space, you will NOT be reimbursed for any parking expense when visiting or serving in the Daley Center.

    • Assistive Listening Device (ALD)
      • Earphones for the hearing impaired for use in court are available in the Presiding Judge’s Office. The courtroom clerk will order them by request.
    • Communication Access Real-time Translation (CART) 
      • CART is an interpretive captioning service only, and does not maintain or provide transcripts of the proceedings.
    • Parking spaces for persons with disabilities in the parking lot.

    The Interpreter Services Office within the Daley Center is located in Room LL-03 (Lower Level) and can be contacted at (312) 603-2541. Foreign Language Interpreters are available upon request.

    First Municipal District Zoom Information

    The Daley Center Children's Room is located in Room 1319. This facility accepts children between the ages of 2 and 12. 

    For more information, please call (312) 603-6252. 

    The Circuit Court of Cook County provides Lactation Rooms for nursing parents who are visiting our courthouses. Room 400E is designated as the Lactation Room at this location and it is available between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Contact (312) 603-6000 to get access. 

    Note for Jurors: Nursing parents who are called for jury duty can request access to a private space, upon their arrival to the Jury Assembly Room, in any court location. The Office of Jury Administration staff will direct individuals to these spaces upon request.

    The Legal Advice Help Desk in the Daley Center recently moved to Room CL-29, on the Concourse Level.
