GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE RULE NO. 97-1 - Appointment of Election Commissioner

IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS

The following Rule is adopted as a General Administrative Rule of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois:

GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE RULE NO. 97-1

SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION COMMISSIONER

Pursuant to 10 ILCS 5/6-21, the Circuit Judges of the Circuit Court of Cook County, or a majority of them, having received the nomination of the Executive Committee of the Circuit Court of Cook County for appointment to the Office of Election Commissioner of the City of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, hereby adopt and approve the nomination of the Executive Committee, and we do hereby appoint Langdon D. Neal to the OFFICE OF ELECTION COMMISSIONER of the BOARD OF ELECTION COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO, Cook County, Illinois, to serve until November 30, 1999.

This Rule is effective January 29, 1997 and shall be spread upon the records of this Court and published.
