Deaf & Hard of Hearing Access (DHHA)

If you are deaf or hard of hearing and plan to attend court as a juror, defendant, witness, victim, litigant, or observer for any other reason, please make your request for accommodation 10 days prior to the scheduled date. Please contact the office if you have not received a confirmation of service within 7 days of your request.

Examples of communication accommodations:

  • American Sign Language Interpreter (ASL)
  • Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI)
  • Assistive Listening Device (ALD)
  • Communication Access Real-time Translation (CART) (CART is an interpretive captioning service only, and does not maintain or provide transcripts of the proceedings.)
  • Other (as specifically requested)
